The highly acclaimed Project WILD workshop will be available at the Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort, Ky. on Sat., Nov. 14 beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m for those who want to become certified in wildlife education through a KERA-compatible, award-winning curriculum featuring interdisciplinary, hands-on activities emphasizing wildlife and the environment.
Teachers, non-formal educators, scout and other youth group leaders are encouraged to attend the workshop. Each participant receives a Project WILD K - 12 curriculum guide and other reference materials. The cost of the program is $20, and admission into the center is free. Lunch will not be provided. Registration and pre-payment are required.
